Are Chinese Made Tires Any Good?
Most of the world’s tires are made in the USA. Others are imported from Europe, Asia and Mexico. Chinese goods can have a reputation as being cheaply made and unreliable. That being said, all tires have to pass the same tests and get the same certifications – wherever they are made. Chinese tires imported to Canada are just as good as others on the market. Each tire and brand must be judged on its own merit rather, not its country of origin. Chinese brands like Longmarch and Roadlux make excellent, long-lasting tires.
How do I know what tires will fit my car?
There are a few places you can find the correct tire size for your vehicle. It will be specified in the users manual and possibly on stickers inside the driver’s door, glove box or gas tank hatch. Each tire displays its size. (It will look something like this: P215/60R 94V) You can check your vehicle’s current tires for a size that will fit.
